A long day's end.

Unfortunately the details of this morning seemed to peak in seriousness today. Dad's not well, and it happened almost overnight.

The liver biopsy is scheduled for 9AM. Mom is staying at the hospital tonight because she's worried...we all are. After I left this afternoon Dad became and has been fairly incoherent. He's exhausted from the low blood counts, but I think his body is finally taking over because it's not well.

The biopsy will be through his jugular in order to reduce the risk of bleeding, rather than through the side, which would definitely bleed out. It'll cause some pain, so we anticipate that Dad will be incoherent tomorrow on pain meds.

IF YOU WISH TO PHONE, PLEASE CALL JENN OR RACHEL, WE'D LOVE TO TELL YOU WHAT WE KNOW--WE WILL POST UPDATES HERE AS SOON AS WE FIND THEM OUT. Mom is a little stressed, so we'd like to do the talking for her.

The biopsy results are vital at this point, so they're being sent out STAT and will be back within 24 hours.

The liver specialist came in late tonight and said that with all the test results so far, he feels like his top 3 diagnoses would be cancer. It was a rough night.

Andrea flew in today, having decided to come just today. All us girls had our cry at the hospital together. It's really hard to see Dad so sick.

Pray for the good news, and I'll post it when it comes. And again, love to all and thanks for the prayers.
