Slight Down Could Lead to an Up

Well new news already. Dad's kidneys are so bad that his heart is surrounded by toxins. The doctors had a pow wow and decided that starting the dialysis early tomorrow morning would be better than waiting. If the liver shows signs of improvemant again tomorrow, then we are a leg up. If not, then the dialysis can be turned off easily. So all still hinges on his liver, as usual, but the kidneys and heart need some immediate help. Tomorrow morning will hold more answers. Dad is in good spirits and once again just told me that he does not want to die.

  1. Good day, Jeff

This is Carlos, I hope you remember me.

Every day I come to work, I expect to see you there, but you’re not and that makes me sad.

Since I came from Portugal after the lost of my dearest daddy in last December 2008, I was sad when someone told me you are not feeling well…but one day you came back to work and I was so happy to see you again and we talked briefly each other…

I have been following the family’s website about your health situation.

Jeff, hoping you continues a good fight against all the odds and our prayers are with you.

    Sincerely,

    Carlos

    * Please share my message to Jeff. Thanks.

  2. Hey Blacks, For some reason I just found out that Jeff is in the hospital. I don't know why it took so long. We will keep him and your family in our prayers.
I always remember Uncle Jeff as being super loving and ready to give a big hug.
Thanks for keeping everyone updated. Let him know we're thinking of him.

  4. We typically lack an understanding of why each of us undergo the challenges we do in this mortal journey. Our Heavenly Father’s plan is glorified when all come together at a time of stress and fear. We see that glory now as Jeff and Jeri’s family gather together to support each other as they see their husband, father, grandpa, brother, father-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle, etc. experience this serious challenge to his physical body. It provides one of those brief glimpses into the eternities that we seem to rarely get amidst all of the noise around us. This gives us all hope.

Know that our prayers join the concourse engaged for Jeff, Jeri, and your family now. Thanks for keeping us updated.
