I thought it was strange that no one was leaving comments, especially since we indicated we'd be taking them to dad. After Aunt Shelley told me she tried to leave two that didn't show up (thanks!!) I looked into it, and it turns out the whole blog system is having a problem. I think if you are subscribed to the blog you can comment...but y'all don't need to worry about all that.

Not really any news tonight. He's still been out of it this evening, although he's done his mightiest to acknowledge visitors and share his love...Dad couldn't do anything else.
Oh, they couldn't do the MRI b/c he has to hold his breath for 20 seconds; two problems here: first, he can't really breath; second, he can't even keep his eyes open that long. They'll probably try again tomorrow, if he's more alert.
And part of his alertness is determined on bowel movements (he'd NEVER want anyone to know about his bowel movements normally, so I feel bad having to mention it)...but...the more he goes, the more ammonia is expelled, and the more it's possible that Dad would be alert. He had a few yesterday (obviously) and only one today. I guess here's hoping Dad poops tomorrow!!
