Dad is exhausted. He expressed as much today. If you live in the area and can visit anytime, he's asked for a bit of rest for a couple days. If you'd like to call one of us before you come, we can let you know if it's a good time. Even we kids are going to stay back a bit.
You may not know, but nurses, aides, and doctors honestly bug him almost every 20 minutes, day and night. He really gets very little time to sleep and rest. And he's so polite he thinks he needs to be awake every time anyone comes in the room.
Thanks so much. We'll still deliver messages to him, for sure!
Dad expresses appreciation and love at the same time. He's so grateful for everything.
