Although last night was a minute of heaven for us, it didn't mean a miracle quite yet.
Bilirubin is up from yesterday, which indicates the liver hasn't improved.
He's got water in his lungs, which makes it difficult for him to breath. They've done a breathing treament that didn't make a difference in Dad's breathing, which indicateds it's the water.
He knows who we are, but is really worn out and doesn't stay alert for very long.
They will be doing another scan of his liver today. They think it is getting small, which is good, but doesn't mean it's working yet.
If you have more questions feel free to inquire. Otherwise I'll post more when there is more.
OH--Dad will be on the chemo for 7 days--he's on day 5. He'll loose his hair around day 10. The chemo keeps working even after they've finished treatment, so there are still many days to watch and wait.
Love to all.
