Quick update

To my delight, I have discovered that my Dad has a whole crew of admirers who check this blog hourly. So, to keep you all calm and collected, I will relay the info my mom told me. When she went to his hospital room this morning, Dad was awake with eyes open. He stayed that way for a while and did recognize Mom but still doesn't show a lot of emotion. He is currently having an ultrasound done to his arms to see if there are blood clots that could be causing the swelling. Mom is waiting for the morning report from the group of doctors that evaluate Dad every morning. Some anonymous person asked if it is ok to see Dad around lunch and I'm going to say ok to that. Love and the human touch help babies grow and I can't imagine it does any harm to big babies either. (Said with love, mind you.)
